HISTORY

The city was a Celtic settlement until the conquest of the Romans, who used it as a retreat and healing of the legionaries, taking advantage of its hot springs. They gave the current name from france and dedicated to the god "Aquae Granni", the god of health, because its hot springs have healing qualities.
